You can easily get to Frýdek-Místek by car along the highway from Olomouc or Český Těšín along the international road R48. It takes 3,2 hours from Prague to F-M or 1,4h from Brno or 2,5h from Bratislava and Wroclaw or 1h from Katowice or 1,5h from Kraków and 4h from Warszawa.
In the centre of city around both historical centres you can use 10 parking areas with a capacity of more than 2000 places. An hour costs 20 Czech crowns during the working week from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and from Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
Leoš Janáček International Airport lies in Mošnov, which is 15 minutes drive from the centre of Frýdek-Místek. Regular flights from Prague to Mošnov fly every working day.
