Panorama observation tower

The observation tower stands on the northwest side of the Kabátice hill, 7 km from the center of Frýdek-Místek. Panorama is a high steel-structure tower, built at the altitude of 460 m above sea-level, i.e. 160 meters above the city. There are 93 steps to take you to the 23 meters high observation tower that has two observation platforms, the lower one at the height of 15 m and the upper one at the height of 17.7 m. Panorama offers a great view of the Olešná lake to the east, with the city of Frýdek-Místek spreading out behind it. There is no marked hiking path leading to the tower, it is accessible along the rural roads from the town of Chlebovice. Entrance to this observation tower is free of charge.

Rozhledna Panorama je vysoká železná rozhledna v nadmořské výšce 460 m n.m., tj. 160 metrů nad městem. Na rozhlednu vysokou 23 metrů vede 93 schodů a má dvě vyhlídkové plošiny, spodní ve výšce 15 m a horní ve výšce 17,7 m. Z Panoramy je krásný výhled východním směrem na vodní nádrž Olešná a za ní se rozkládající město Frýdek-Místek. K rozhledně nevede značená turistická trasa, přístup k ní je po lesních cestách z obce Chlebovice. Vstup na tuto rozhlednu je volný.
